			<description><![CDATA[As social media matures this year, email marketing used in a complete <a target="_blank"  href="http://www.yenius.com/">Online Interactive Marketing</a> initiative will become the key way to develop and identify communities as well as loyal followers of the brand.  <br/><br/>The <a target="_blank"  href="http://socialmediatoday.com/mike-johansson/257022/big-changes-coming-social-media-2011">maturing of social media</a> means we'll be identifying the platforms which engage and draw us so we'll be more selective about who and what we follow.  We will follow a limited set that enrich, fulfill and create real content for us to consume.  And, marketers will be using email to draw people to the social networking communities while the social networking communities will cause people to follow via email or RSS feed.<br/><br/>Each will help marketers determine the level of consumer and community engagement with the brand.  In the end, the real task will be in generating real engagement using valuable, thoughtful and provoking conversations to keep people involved and paying attention to brands.<br/><br/>Balance will return to the attention paid to email vs social networking and marketers will return to applying them in a more holistic approach again. <br/>]]></description>
